Eagles, 

We are excited to start making moves in preparation for the 2018 soccer season. Tryouts will be held August 6th & 7th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the CHS practice soccer fields. Tryouts are mandatory for all players. Grades 9 through 12 are welcome attend.

Prior to Tryouts:

On behalf of their athlete, a parent must complete the registration process online and must file a current physical with Pam Arriola, our Athletic Trainer before they will be allowed to tryout (no exceptions). Instructions for registration are attached. When you complete this registration, make sure to store your login information as it will be used each year the athlete participates in athletics at CHS. A parent or player should complete the tryouts information form (will be posted shortly). This is essential to ensure you stay up to date with all communications regarding our program.

In addition to the online registration processes and acquiring a physical, all athletes must be in line with the Districts academic guidelines to be eligible for a roster spot. 

During Tryouts:

1. Arrive a half-hour early.
2. Check-in with the coaching staff.
3. Meet others
4. Earn a spot!  

Players Bring:

1. Running Shoes
2. Soccer Cleats
3. Shin Guards (Always)
4. Water Bottle (Water Provided)
5. A Positive Attitude

Tryouts will mainly consist of playing both small sides and full games. Additionally, an endurance component will be incorporated and players should be prepared to run two miles and perform various agility drills while on the track in running shoes and on the soccer field in cleats.

The coaching staff reserves the right to make cuts throughout the duration of tryouts, including the first day. Final rosters will be posted online no later than 10:00 pm following the second day of tryouts. Numbers taken to each roster are at the discretion of coaching staff.
